Ola Loves!💕
Have you ever gone shopping and cringed at the amount of different colours and patterns on outfits? No idea what to choose? I know I have!
I never really know what colors go together, so I always just wear black or simple solid colours.

It took me a while to mix and match colours but then I realized, It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to master the art of mixing and matching. Once you learn a few simple tricks of the trade, you’ll be pairing patterns and colours like a pro in no time.

Lets go over a few tricks I have learnt over the past years; I picked out one of my favourite colours, blue as a starting colour and went on from there.

When we mix colors in an outfit, we want to use colors that compliment each other. That is what I tried to accomplish in this four looks I put together.

LOOK 1: MATCHING A BAG WITH SHOES.

The most common norm is wearing a dress with matching shoes. It has its perks. First, it elongates the legs, and second, it also gives a sort of unexpected polish to pretty much anything you’re wearing. But have you tried to pair the colour of shoes to your bag? I paired my outfit with shades of blue, light pink and a dash of orange on my clutch bag. Remeber the golden rule; always find colours that are in the same shade if you want to mix and match your outfit.

Choosing the colour of shoes that will go well with one’s outfit is one difficulty that many people encounter. While the decision on which pair to wear definitely belongs to you. You should realize that matching your wardrobe and footwear is actually all about balancing.

LOOK 2; PATTERNED DRESS.
Want to make a big statement? There is no better way to do it than by pairing accessories with your patterned dress.

I paired this flowy flowery chiffon dress with a statement necklace and blue open-toed heels in the same shade and colour.

Matching the colour of your accessories is an easy way to limit the number of colours in your outfit as you already have plenty of colours in your outfit.

LOOK 3: MULTICOLOURED SHOES.
This was a simple look for me. A solid blue bodcon dress and multi-coloured shoes to give you the uumph!

A colour match that is powerful and bright.

Remember, Just add some solid colours to your outfit and watch the transformation.

LOOK 4: LAYERING DIFFERENT COLOURS.
Blue is a cool color by nature, and it works well with pretty much any other tone.

For this look I paired a bright blue top with a red skirt. To tone the colours abit, I accessorized with a statement brown Michael Kors bag and  printed dainty heels.
